New pickleball courts open at Recreation Park in Visalia

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Visalia's Recreation Park celebrated the grand opening of its new pickleball courts on Saturday.

Officials held a ribbon cutting ceremony Saturday morning complete with free refreshments and demonstrations of the game. The popular paddle sport can accommodate players of all ages and skill levels.

Visalia Parks and Recreation currently has a pickleball league and several local groups are also popping up throughout the community. The two pickleball courts are open to the public and available for private use.
