Motorcycle Safety Awareness Day
FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- There are a lot of motorcycle runs are coming up as the spring and summer months, so it's important to be safe. That doesnt just go for riders, drivers on four wheels need to do their part as well.
May is designated for Motorcycle Safety Awareness and this Saturday you can attend a safety demo day at River Park.

National Highway Traffic Safety Administration says in 2013, motorcyclists accounted for 14 percent of all traffic fatalities, 4 percent of all people injured, 18 percent of all occupants (driver and passenger) fatalities, and 4 percent of all occupants injured. Of the 4,668 motorcyclists killed in traffic crashes, 94 percent (4,399) were riders and 6 percent (269) were passengers.
