Severe storms bring rain, hail, high winds to Kern County

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Cleanup is underway in areas of Kern County after severe storms on Wednesday.

Heavy rain and hail fell in the city of Taft. Some areas picked up an inch of rain in the storms.

Meanwhile, a dust storm caused problems just a few miles outside of Taft. Winds in the area were clocked at around 40 mph. It made for some treacherous driving conditions.
