Snow in the Sierra, brings business to the mountains

FRESNO, Calif. -- The road to the Sierra is snowy white, and tree tops now flocked with fresh snow.

"A lot of white. a lot of white."

And that's great for local mom and pop businesses like TJ's Roadhouse right off the road in Colfax, California. "Oh yes. Yes. People definitely come up for the snow."

Restaurants aren't the only ones optimistic about a white winter, snow brings big business for the gas stations, and of course the ski resorts like Boreal -- which got a foot of snow last week. They just opened 3 days ago, but they've already seen thousands of people. It's the best opening weekend they've had in 11 years.

And many hope the snow only gets better.
