Madera County holding job fair looking to fill several positions

MADERA COUNTY, Calif. (KFSN) -- While employment has been up in recent months, finding a new job or making a lateral career move is on the minds of many.

On Thursday morning, hundreds of people were in line at the Madera County Job Fair at the county fairgrounds, hoping to land a job or make a networking connection.

Over 50 companies, businesses, and nonprofits set up tables at the event.

The Workforce Development Board of Madera County is hosting a second job fair in Oakhurst on April 24th, and they encourage businesses to join if they're looking to hire.
