Fresno woman mourns for her murdered fiance

FRESNO, Calif.

Cedric Blair, 26, was shot to death while stopped at an intersection in Northeast Fresno early Sunday morning. His passenger was also shot, but survived

Action News spoke with Blair's fiance about the void the father of two leaves behind. Chinthuon Ohm did not want to show her face because the killer has not been caught, and she is fearful for her family.

She said Blair was a wonderful father and always played with their two sons, 3-year-old Gianni and 3-month-old Darien. "If somebody knows anything about what happened to Cedric. I just want them to come forward. That's all. I just want justice to be served. That's all. He does not deserve to die like that."

Fresno Police Detective Paul Cervantes said, "I can tell you unequivocally, these individuals are not gang members. They have jobs, they were out celebrating and it appears to be a senseless random act at this point."

Ohm says she and Blair were to supposed to get married next year. The last she heard from him was a text message he sent right before the shooting saying he was on his way home.

Police detectives are scanning surveillance video recorded from near the crime scene. They're hoping anyone with any information will call them.

An account has been set up to help the family of Cedric Blair, Jr., a.k.a. "Ceddy Bear."

The account is at Wells Fargo, account # 8507520016.
