Fresno middle school students spend day at zoo

FRESNO, Calif.

400 seventh graders learned about math, science and language arts, all by studying the animals at the zoo.

Students learned about how stingrays dissolve oxygen and how the creatures are affected by temperature.

At another station on birds, kids learned how beaks adapt over time and compared relative humidity in the rain forest and tropical treasures exhibits.

Edison Computech students have also been working to create web pages for all of the animals at the zoo.
