Oakhurst sign damaged by strong winds reinstalled

OAKHURST, Calif. (KFSN) -- The mountain community of Oakhurst now has their welcome sign back up along Highway 41.

A little over two months ago, a strong wind storm knocked down and damaged the sign.

On Tuesday afternoon, a refurbished sign was installed by volunteers.

The "Welcome to Oakhurst" sign is a popular spot for visitors to stop, take photos and enjoy the lookout of the city.
