Multiple trees damaged at Dickey Park in central Fresno

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Trees at a central Fresno park were targeted by vandals.

Six of the newly planted trees at Dickey Park were damaged on Tuesday.

Some of the trees were broken at the base and others flipped upside down.

The trees were planted in a partnership between Mayor Dyer's Beautify Fresno initiative and environmental conservation group "Tree Fresno."
