Rivergold Elementary School near Coarsegold closed due to power outage

Rivergold Elementary School near Coarsegold is closed for the day due to a power outage, according to school officials.

A tree fell onto a powerline near the school which knocked out power to the campus.

No word yet on when power will be restored to that area.
