Cru Winery holds Grape Stomp event
Dozens of people got their feet dirty on Saturday trying to crush the competition by stomping out grapes.

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Dozens of people got their feet dirty on Saturday trying to crush the competition by stomping out grapes.

Cru Winery in Madera challenged people to work in teams to crush as much juice out of grapes as possible. The messy event is part of the annual Grape Stomp at the winery. Those who got the most juice out of their barrel of fruit got to take home a large bottle of wine. While everyone walked away with a free T-shirt and wine glass.

None of the juice stomped out will actually be used to make wine, but organizers say it's a fun way to get people out to the wineries.
