New coronavirus testing facility to open in Hanford today

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Kings County will launch a new testing site in Hanford on Monday to increase COVID-19 testing.

The new site is one of 80 testing sites powered through a partnership with OptumServe and the state.

Testing will be by appointment only through OptumServe directly. The county will release additional information about scheduling appointments as it becomes available.

Kings Area Rural Transit will provide support for Kings County residents living in rural areas that lack access to reliable transportation.
