Crews battling wildfire in Kings County
The Kettle Fire has burned more than 300 acres off Highway 41 near Kettleman City.

KINGS COUNTY, Calif. (KFSN) -- Firefighters have fully contained a wildfire burning in Kings County.

The Kettle Fire sparked off Highway 41 near Kettleman City on Monday.

Fire crews say strong winds caused the flames to quickly spread.

On Tuesday morning, officials said the wildfire was 100% contained and had scorched nearly 450 acres.

No structures were threatened.
