D23 reveals future plans for the Disney parks and experiences
ABC News' Ginger Zee is at Anaheim, California, sharing​ all of the exciting Disney experiences to come around the world.

ANAHEIM, Calif. -- From newly announced movies to rides and lands under construction at Disney parks around the world, we brought you all the live updates from D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event.

This gathering of official Disney fan club members took place at the Anaheim Convention Center and Honda Center in Anaheim, California from Aug. 14 through Aug. 16.

The Honda Center was home to the Disney Entertainment Showcase Friday night, the Disney Experiences Showcase Saturday night and the Disney Legends Award Ceremony Sunday afternoon.

Gosling honors time in 'Mickey Mouse Club' before 'Starfighter' clip

A special sizzle reel from his time during "The Mickey Mouse Club" served as Ryan Gosling's introduction to the Disney Entertainment Showcase stage.

The actor said he owes a lot to Disney, noting that he would not be here today if they had not looked far and wide and come to his hometown. Thirty years later, he's back and his life is changing again.

An exclusive new look at "Star Wars: Starfighter" was shown to D23 attendees on Friday night.

Directed by Shawn Levy, the film hits theaters May 28, 2027.

Rosario Dawson shares 'Ahsoka' Season 2 teaser trailer

In Season 2 of "Ahsoka," Rosario Dawson said the stakes are higher, the battles are bigger, and the threat of Grand Admiral Thrawn looms large for the title character and her crew.

Hayden Christensen and Eman Esfandi also took to the stage, before a brand new teaser trailer was shown.

The highly anticipated new episodes premiere on Disney+ in January 2027.

New cast of 'X-Men' introduced at D23

The characters are familiar but the faces are new. With Sadie Sink by his side as Jean Grey, Marvel Studios executive Kevin Feige introduced the new cast of "X-Men" at D23.

Noting that they met for the first time backstage, he announced Kit Connor as Cyclops, Christopher Abbott as Professor Charles Xavier, Samara Weaving as Emma Frost, Inde Navarrette as Rogue, and Maya Boyd as Storm.

Then, in a prerecorded video, Adam Driver announced that he was also joining the cast. The "Star Wars" star will play Nathaniel Milbury, better known as supervillain Mr. Sinister.

The new film will follow the story of Jean Gray into an all-new version of the saga, coming to theaters May 5, 2028.

Avengers assemble onstage for 'Doomsday' special look

Captain America (Chris Evans), Peggy Carter (Hayley Atwell) and Doctor Doom (Robert Downey Jr.) walked on stage at the Disney Entertainment Showcase to give Marvel fans a special look at "Avengers: Doomsday."

The new trailer features a voiceover while showing closeups of the epic villain and superheroes.

Pedro Pascal can be heard asking, "Victor, did you do this?" While Robert Downey Jr. answers, "All of you have lived stolen lives."

Tickets for "Avengers: Doomsday" are on sale now. The highly anticipated film hits theaters on Dec. 18.
