Live updates: Multiple storm systems forecast for Central California this week

It was a beautiful weekend in Central California, but get prepared for a series of storms in the area this week.
From Tuesday to Wednesday, multiple feet of snow are forecast for Yosemite National Park, Huntington Lake and Shaver Lake. Some of the Foothill communities could get a few inches of snow as well.
Expect high temperatures to remain in the 50's all week across Central California before beginning to dry out on Friday.

Yosemite to reopen Saturday
Yosemite National Park will reopen to visitors on Saturday, February 21, with access available via Wawona Road (Highway 41/South Entrance) and El Portal Road (Highway 140/Arch Rock Entrance).
Big Oak Flat Road (Highway 120 west) and Badger Pass Road and ski area will remain closed as crews continue snow removal. All campgrounds will stay closed until at least Friday, February 27.
Visitors should prepare for full winter conditions, including cold temperatures, icy surfaces, and limited parking due to snow removal operations. Tire chains are required, and snow boots are strongly recommended.

All lanes of traffic blocked due to vehicles in snow and ice on HWY 168 near Shaver
All lanes of traffic are blocked on Highway 168 at Beal Fire Road near Shaver Lake Friday morning.
Vehicles are currently stuck in snow and ice from the recent winter storms.
The California Highway Patrol is urging drivers to take precautions.
Chains are required for all drivers on Highway 168 towards Shaver Lake.
