Man hit, killed by semi-truck on Highway 99 in Madera County

MADERA COUNTY, Calif. (KFSN) -- A man was hit and killed by a semi-truck in Madera County early on Wednesday morning.

The crash happened on Highway 99 near the Highway 152 interchange at about 2:45 am.

The driver of the semi-truck stopped and called 911.

It's not yet known why the victim was in the road.
