Man in critical condition after hit and run in Tower District

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- One man is in the hospital with serious injuries after they were hit by a vehicle in the Tower District.

It happened just before 2 a.m. on Sunday morning, near Olive and Broadway.

Police believe there was some type of assault that happened just seconds before that man was hit by a car.

The victim went into surgery and is still in critical condition.

No arrests have been made in connection to the hit and run.
