Caleb Quick murder: 1 year since deadly shooting outside Clovis McDonald's

CLOVIS, Calif. (KFSN) -- Thursday, April 23, marks one year since Caleb Quick was shot and killed outside of a McDonald's in Clovis.

Video captured the moments that a white Tesla pulled up in the parking lot at Willow and Nees when Quick was shot.

A male and female teen have been accused of the murder from last April.

Defense attorneys have been arguing to keep the teens in juvenile court instead of adult court, where they could face heftier sentences if convicted.

A transfer hearing has been held over the last few weeks to determine whether the female teen will be moved to adult court.

The judge has ordered attorneys to return on May 15 for closing arguments.

It will be at least June before the boy's case moves forward with a transfer hearing.
