Two dead after fiery crash in Fresno county
The California Highway Patrol report that the driver of an SUV ran a stop sign and slammed into a pickup truck.

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Two people died Monday afternoon after a fiery crash in Fresno County.

The accident happened around 1:30 p.m. at Rose and Academy avenues near Selma.

The California Highway Patrol report that the driver of a white pickup truck ran a stop sign and slammed into another pickup truck and a silver SUV.

The truck caught fire, and the two people inside were killed.

The driver of the SUV was transported to the Community Regional Medical Center with unknown injuries. Authorities state that the driver was under influence during the incident and will be charged for DUI.
