19 arrested in multi-agency parole operation in Fresno, officials say

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A multi-agency operation that included Fresno parole agents led to the arrests of 19 people on Wednesday.

79 officers from state and local agencies took part in "Operation: New Year's Resolve," which was led by the Division of Adult Parole Operations and the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation.

A total of 25 parolees were targeted and five weapons and ammunition were recovered as a result of the operation.

There were no injuries or uses of force related to the operation.
