2 people hospitalized with stab wounds after a fight in Fresno County, deputies say

FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (KFSN) -- Two people have been taken to the hospital after a fight at the Sago Rey Palms Plant Nursery on Central Avenue west of Temperance Avenue just before 4 p.m. on Sunday, deputies say.

The Fresno County Sheriff's Office says there was a fight at the nursery, which escalated into the stabbing.

They arrived and found two victims.

EMS crews quickly took those victims to the hospital. Their conditions have not been released.

Deputies say one person was detained, though no arrests have been made.

Deputies did transfer one man into an ambulance and they appeared to treat him for some type of injury before he was taken away. They would not share his relation to the stabbing.

The nursery did appear to be closed on Easter Sunday.

The investigation is ongoing.
