Fresno Police say a fight broke out around 12:30 a.m. Sunday on Olive and Linden avenues.

One witness told Action News he saw a black van drive by just before hearing the gunshots.

A 32-year-old man was shot in the leg and taken to the hospital, where he has already been released.

Officers say a woman was also injured due to being trampled from the chaotic scene.

A Fresno police helicopter followed the suspected vehicle to Kona Avenue and Beck Avenue, where authorities say the suspects got out and ran.

A 19-year-old and a 16-year-old were arrested along with Muhammad, who had prior felony charges.

Muhammad was identified as the shooter.

Clovis Police confirmed he was one of four men their department arrested for a gang-related shooting, which Action News covered outside a Clovis WinCo in April 2024.

His charges then included assault with a deadly weapon and felony child endangerment.

Court records show he pleaded no contest to his charges and was on probation.

But after Sunday's shooting, he is back behind bars in the Fresno County Jail, now facing several felony charges, including assault with a deadly weapon.
