60-year-old man airlifted to hospital after being assaulted, Tulare County deputies say

TULARE COUNTY, Calif. (KFSN) -- An investigation is underway after deputies say a 60-year-old man was physically assaulted near Porterville.

Tulare County Sheriff's Office responded to a call on Sunday evening near Highways 190 and Road 284.

Deputies found the injured man, and he was airlifted to a hospital.

The victim's current condition has not been released.
