Adventist Health Reedley host a free wellness clinic for students

REEDLEY, Calif. (KFSN) -- Adventist Health Reedley hosted a free Wellness Clinic for students of all ages.

The event took place on Saturday at Reedley College, celebrating the second year in a row.

Students had the chance to prepare for the upcoming school year as the event included medical screenings, physicals, and even haircuts.

The event included a backpack giveaway, including essential school supplies for students going into kindergarten up to college.

Nurses with Adventist Health say this is about providing support to local families.

"Hopefully, it helps them not only financially but also be able to catch something health-wise and know their local hospital is here to support them in anything they need health-wise," said Jesus Zamora, lead nurse of Adventist Health Reedley.
