American Ambulance employee arrested in child exploitation investigation, police say

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Kerman Police have arrested 40-year-old Benjamin Wiele following an investigation into the online exploitation of children.

Action News interviewed him earlier this year as an employee of American Ambulance.

Authorities arrested Wiele after police received a cyber-tip regarding suspected online child exploitation, which included allegations of sharing inappropriate images.

After a search warrant was executed, detectives seized devices believed to contain evidence related to the investigation.

Wiele was booked into the Fresno County Jail.
