Fresno firefighters rescue dogs accidentally locked inside hot car

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Fresno firefighters came to the rescue Wednesday afternoon when two small dogs got locked inside a hot car.

Crews with Engine 6 say the driver called for help as soon as she realized the door to her car was locked with her two little white dogs stuck inside.

Firefighters used tools to quickly pop open the door and safely reunited the pets with their owner.

They say this is a good reminder that temperatures inside a parked car can rise quickly, especially when temperatures are high in the Valley.
