Authorities investigating 2-year-old child's death in Lindsay

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Authorities are investigating after a two-year-old child died in Lindsay on Tuesday night.

It happened around 5 p.m. at a home on Page near Alameda.

Deputies say the child fell into an empty pool and died. No further information was released.

Investigators were at the house into the overnight hours looking at evidence.
