Bicyclist killed in crash in Hanford, CHP says

HANFORD, Calif. (KFSN) -- A crash between a car and a bicyclist in Hanford left a 63-year-old man dead.

The California Highway Patrol says a car collided with the back of the bike on Hanford Armona Road and 16th Avenue just before 7 pm Monday.

The man was thrown from the bike and was not wearing a helmet.

The driver stayed on the scene.

Officers say DUI is not suspected in the crash.
