
FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- The Boneyard Fire is burning near Priest and Coulterville Roads in Tuolumne County, near the Mariposa County line. The blaze has burned at least 200 acres with 20% containment.
As of 1:50 p.m. Saturday afternoon, emergency crews continue to battle the blaze, and evacuation orders have been issued for nearby areas.
Mandatory evacuations are in place for Jackass Ridge Road, Jackass Creek, and Donkey Lane.
Evacuation warnings have been issued for several nearby roads as well including:
Cueno Road
Pine Road
Stout Road
Sierra Road
Chapin Road
The American Red Cross has established a temporary evacuation point at Lake Don Pedro Elementary School. Anyone with large animals that need to be evacuated can do so at the La Grange rodeo grounds.
Authorities are urging residents to avoid the area to allow emergency crews to work safely and efficiently.
