FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Taqueria Yarelis, across from River Park in north Fresno, has gotten bigger and better over the years.
Since 2015, the Anaconda burrito has been their claim to fame. It starts with five large tortillas.
"The anaconda burrito started from inventing, as if we were scientists, my dad and I," says co-owner Edwin Espinoza.
The Anaconda's so big, it looked like Edwin Espinoza's dad, Juan, was wrapping a bazooka.
The burrito's grilled to give it a crunch.
It looks like a challenge meal but is designed for a group.
"Five or six people," Juan said. "One lady ate it herself in three minutes."
Once the Anaconda presents itself, all you can do is strike - like a viper.
Even the tortas are on the larger side here.
"Now I make a chile relleno burrito," Juan said.
The chile relleno is plated traditionally with rice and beans.
"It's actually chile poblano with our ranchero sauce, with rice, beans and queso fresco on top," said Andrew.
This is the family's third location.
"Here we have our taquitos dorados, topped with lettuce, pico de gallo, sour cream, and queso fresco," Andrew said. "Paired with rice and beans."
You can cool off with agua fresca.
"Jamaica hibiscus, we make it fresh with the leaf," Andrew said. "We have the tamarindo, which is tamarind. We have the horchata on your end."
As for the taqueria name, Yareli is Edwin's sister.
"That's my only one daughter," Juan said. "She's working here. I'm very happy."
