FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A Fresno man will spend more than seven years in prison after being convicted of conspiring with a Madera pharmacist to illegally traffic hundreds of thousands of opioid pills.
44-year-old Kelo White was sentenced Monday for the illegal operation that spanned between 2014 and 2018.
Prosecutors say White was part of a three-man operation in which he and his partner received thousands of pills through fraudulent prescriptions at New Life Pharmacy in Madera.
The pharmacy has since closed, and the other suspects pleaded guilty to the charges.
