
FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A Fresno Police officer could soon be facing charges of domestic violence and assault with a deadly weapon.
30-year-old Efren Lopez was arrested after Fresno County Sheriff's deputies responded to a home on Tuesday.
Lopez was off-duty at the time and booked in jail with bail set at $100,000. He bonded out that same day.
The sheriff's office is handling the investigation.
The Fresno Police Department says Lopez has been placed on administrative leave pending an internal affairs investigation.
