FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Fresno State Athletics is launching a new outreach program to give local kids free tickets and game-day experiences.
Fresno State Athletic Director Garrett Klassy is calling the new initiative "Red Wave Reach."
The goal is to get local kids to experience a Bulldog game, especially those with special needs and who are from marginalized or underrepresented communities.
"Red Wave Reach is about breaking down barriers and making sure every young person in the Valley has the chance to feel the energy of Fresno State Athletics," said Garrett Klassy said in a statement. "We want these kids to see what's possible, to connect with our student-athletes, and to walk away inspired - not just to be Bulldogs, but to dream bigger in every part of their lives."
