FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Fresno State is now home to a couple of larger-than-life animal sculptures.
The 20-foot tall works celebrate the vibrant traditions of Oaxaca and Central Mexico.
The statues will be on display through December 7 as part of the Fantastic Animals from Mexico exhibition in Fresno.
The exhibition includes eight large-scale, handmade fiberglass sculptures distributed across Fresno State, Arte Américas and Fresno City College.
The sculptures are inspired by Mexican magical realism, and are a celebration of Mexican artists who create these brightly colored sculptures.
