Fresno Unified cancels field trips for elementary students due to budget cuts

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Field trips are being cut due to budget cuts within Fresno Unified.

A spokesperson with the school district told Action News that centrally funded T-K through sixth-grade trips are being eliminated.

This will save the district about $2 million.

Individual schools could still fund educational trips using their own budgets.
