Fresno State kicks off new school year

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- The Bulldogs will be back in class Wednesday as Fresno State gets ready for the first day of school.

More than 25,000 students will set foot on campus. with more than 6,600 new undergraduate students for the Fall semester.

About 58 percent of students come from Fresno County, with nearly 83 percent of students from the six-county region of the Valley.

Traffic is expected around the school, as well as Shaw and Barstow, so give yourself plenty of time to get to class.
