FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- The next time you park at the Fresno-Yosemite International Airport, you'll no longer need to take a ticket as you pull in.
The airport announced a partnership with Metropolis to update the parking experience starting July 14.
When you pull into a lot, your license plate will be scanned.
Customers will be encouraged to create an account and put a credit card on file.
For those who do, when they pull up to the exits, the gate will open without a wait.
There will also be the option to make a one-time payment online without an account, and cash payments will still be allowed at a designated exit lane.
Metropolis says Fresno-Yosemite will become the largest California airport to offer ticketless parking.
