Fresno airport gets federal funding to help repave runway
Fresno Yosemite International Airport is set to receive millions as part of a major federal investment to modernize California airports.

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Fresno Yosemite International Airport is set to receive millions as part of a major federal investment to modernize California airports.

Senators Alex Padilla and Adam Schiff announced that 16 airports will receive $107 million as part of an FAA grant to improve infrastructure and strengthen the state's aviation system.

FYI will be awarded $14 million to reconstruct more than 9,500 feet of existing runway.

Reedley Municipal Airport will also receive $500,000 to construct a new fuel farm to help the airport become more self-sustaining.
