GrubPub holds soft opening in Downtown Fresno with food court concept

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A revitalized space in Downtown Fresno is making your meal plans easy.

Several businesses are serving up global flavors out of the GrubPub.

Located at R and Inyo streets, its food court concept combines four restaurants and a bar under one roof.

Right now, the collection consists of Juliet's Pizza Burgers Subs, BB's Cafe Bakery, Los Parientes and Papas Teriyaki.

A bar for wine and beer is coming soon.

Owners say they saw a need calling them to downtown.

"We don't really have anything like this in Fresno where you can come and grab a little bit of everything," says co-owner James Torres. "You know, we're so diverse, you bring the family and someone is going to find something they like."

The GrubPub is currently open every day from 7 am to 6 pm for its soft opening phase.

Once the bar is serving, hours will be extended.

About 40 people were hired.

Owners are planning grand opening events for April.
