Kingsburg High School's Jensen Hirschkorn drafted by the Atlanta Braves

KINGSBURG, Calif. (KFSN) -- The Atlanta Braves drafted Kingsburg High pitcher Jensen Hirschkorn in the third round of the 2026 MLB draft.

He's a 6'7" right-handed pitcher signed to play at LSU next year.

During his senior season, MLB scouts would come to Kingsburg games to watch Jensen pitch.

He posted 112 strikeouts and a .71 ERA in his final campaign as a Viking.

He will now decide between playing college ball at one of the most storied programs in the country or starting the climb in the Braves' minor league system. Congratulations!
