New evacuation orders, warnings issued due to KNP Complex Fire

TULARE COUNTY, Calif. (KFSN) -- New evacuation warnings and orders have been issued due to the KNP Complex Fire burning in Tulare County.

The Tulare County Sheriff's Office says the order is in place for Eshom and Hartland Camp, including Eshom Valley Drive, from Fresno County Line, south to Tarbell Pocket on Eshom Valley Drive, and North Mountain Road, 468 North to the county line.

Deputies say to use Eshom Valley to Stage Coach to Highway 245 or Dry Creek to evacuate.

An evacuation order means there is an immediate threat to life and you should leave immediately.

A new evacuation warning has also been placed for the Badger community to the North Tulare County Boundary. Evacuation warnings are voluntary, and TCSO encourages residents under an evacuation warning to be prepared to evacuate.

A temporary evacuation center is located at the Woodlake Community Center.

The KNP Complex Fire has charred nearly 50,000 acres.
