Man hit by car in north Fresno, police say

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A man is in the hospital after being hit by a car in North Fresno early Wednesday morning.

It happened just after 2:30 am on Blackstone and Minarets.

Police say a man was in the roadway when he was struck. He was not inside a crosswalk at the time.

Police say there were no signs of foul play.

The man was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.

The driver of the vehicle was cooperative and remained on scene.

There were no signs of drugs or alcohol.
