Massive brawl leads to 15 arrests at Visalia Convention Center

VISALIA, Calif. (KFSN) -- Multiple people have been arrested following a fight that broke out at a 559 Fights event inside the Visalia Convention Center Saturday night. The event featured mixed martial arts competitions.

According to the Visalia Police Department, a large fight involving around 100 people broke out.

When police arrived, several other fights broke out throughout the venue.

Authorities arrested 15 people. All individuals were booked into the Tulare County Adult Pre-Trial Detention Facility on various charges.

Three Visalia Police officers suffered minor injuries as they tried to gain control of the situation and are expected to be fine.

26 Visalia Police units responded to the fight, along with assistance from the Tulare County Sheriff's Office, Farmersville Police Department, and Exeter Police Department.
