Mastercard tests program that lets you pay with your photo

Mastercard is going to test a new program letting you authorize online purchases by taking a photo of your face.

The program will begin in the fall, and Mastercard says it has partnered with every major smartphone maker.

The test program is part of a longterm plan to do away with passwords for online payments.
