
MADERA COUNTY, Calif. (KFSN) -- The Madera County Sheriff's Office has identified the suspect killed on Friday by a deputy as 42-year-old Gregory Anguiano.
The sheriff's office, during a press conference on Monday, revealed that Anguiano's wife, Claudia Anguiano, has been missing since June 15. She was last known to be in Whittier, California.
According to the MCSO, he and his wife appeared to be moving from Fresno to Whittier.
Claudia was arrested for a domestic violence charge involving Gregory in Whittier on June 11 and was released on June 15, but has not been in contact with anyone since.
On June 18, Gregory was in Moreno Valley, traveled through Gillman Hot Springs near Hemet around 8 p.m., and then returned to Whittier.

Gregory's blue Ford Escape and cell phone were found near Gaston Road and Avenue 12 in Madera County.
