HANFORD, Calif. (KFSN) -- Two men are dead in an apparent murder-suicide in Hanford.
Hanford Police received a 911 call from a home on University Avenue near West Grangeville Boulevard just after 4 a.m. Sunday.
Investigators say a man and a woman could be heard arguing in the background during the 911 call.
The first responding officer to the home heard the argument from inside the home and announced himself to the pair inside.
Shortly after, the suspect, identified as 33-year-old Vincent Diaz, turned the gun on himself.
Officers removed the woman from the home and conducted a sweep, where they found 25-year-old Adrian Valdovinos shot to death inside a bedroom.
Detectives say Diaz had forcibly entered the home and shot Valdovinos. Diaz is the woman's ex-husband and Valdovinos is her current boyfriend.
The investigation remains ongoing. If you have any information on this incident, you are asked to contact the Hanford Police Department.
