Murder charges filed against man accused of Dinuba double homicide

DINUBA, Calif. (KFSN) -- A Reedley man accused of a double homicide in Dinuba is now officially charged with two counts of murder.

Body camera video shows the moments police arrested 43-year-old Miguel Angel Saldana Garcia.

On Tuesday, Prosecutors say he shot 51-year-old Jose Medina and 39-year-old Irai Torres, who was the suspect's ex-wife and the mother of his child.

Saldana pleaded not guilty Thursday afternoon and remains in custody without bail.

He's set to be in court on May 4. If convicted, Saldana faces life in prison or the death penalty.
