Oakhurst man arrested for possessing child sex abuse material, officials say

OAKHURST, Calif. (KFSN) -- An Oakhurst man has been arrested on charges related to the possession of child sexual abuse material, according to the Madera County Sheriff's Office.

The investigation began after detectives received a tip from the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children regarding 34-year-old Jeremy Michael Flud.

Authorities with Homeland Security Investigations and the Central California Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force served a search warrant at a home near Meadow Lane and Pine Ridge Road.

During the search, investigators seized devices belonging to Flud that had child sexual abuse material on them.

Flud was arrested and booked into the Madera County Jail.

The investigation remains ongoing.
