Part of Clovis home destroyed by fire, officials say

CLOVIS, Calif. (KFSN) -- A house fire left a Clovis home heavily damaged Sunday night on Burgan Avenue near Barstow and Fowler.

Firefighters rushed to the scene around 10:30 pm.

They say the blaze started outside before spreading to the kitchen and attic.

No one was home at the time of the fire.

A few propane tanks were burning and exploded outside the house, which limited access to one side of the property.

No injuries were reported, and the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
