Pedestrian critically hurt in hit-and-run crash in Visalia

VISALIA, Calif. (KFSN) -- Officers responded to Santa Fe Street and Kaweah Avenue just after two this morning for a vehicle that hit a pedestrian.

Police found the victim in the road with major injuries and rushed them to Kaweah Health.

That's where they're currently listed in critical condition.

Investigators say the driver involved had already left the area before officers arrived.
